Group Records Process

 

Please follow this Process in the Virginia Area to report:

 

  • New Groups     
  • New Meetings
  • Meeting Changes
  • Disbanded or Inactive Groups/Meetings
  • Group Representative (GR) changes and/or 
  • Any change in the Current Mailing Address (CMA)

 

Step by step process

STEP ONE:  Contact your District Representative with information to be updated or added

 Any new or changes to GR/CMA requires first and last names, full mailing address, email address and phone number. 

 

STEP TWO: District Representative sends information to the Area Group Records Coordinator by emailing the information to GroupRecords@vaalanon.org

 

STEP THREE:  The Area Group Records Coordinator updates the Area Group Records database and the WSO Group Records and will send a confirmation to the DR that the changes have been made. For new group registration, the Area Group Records Coordinator will submit the new group registration and confirm with the DR and CMA that the WSO has registered the new group.

  • Alateen Group Changes: All registrations and changes related to ALATEEN GROUPS must be submitted directly to the Area Alateen Process Person (AAPP) via email at AlateenProcess@vaalanon.org
  • Service Centers: If your District or groups is in one of the service centers, contact the service centers directly to update group records:
